Olofin Adimula: Adegbola Commiserates With Ado-Odo Kingdom


Prince John Adegbola has commiserated with the entire people of Ado-Odo over the death of their monarch, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdul Lateef Adeniran Akanni, Ojikutujoye Obaarun Oladeikan 1.

Our Correspondent gathered that Oba Adeniran, Olofin Adimula of Ado-Odo, died early hours of today after a brief illness at the Federal Medical Center FMC Idi Aba Abeokuta the Ogun State capital.


While reacting to the death, Prince Adegbola in a statement described the death as a great blow to the community at this nascent period of recovery in the history as a people battling to entrench unity in their diversity. 

The statement reads "It is with a heavy heart and in total submission to the will of the Almighty that I commiserate with the Olofin in Council, the immediate family of His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdul Lateef Adeniran Akanni, Ojikutujoye Obaarun Oladeikan 1, and the entire people of Ado-Odo kingdom on the transition of the Olofin Adimula of Ado-Odo kingdom to the world beyond to join his ancestors."

"This is a great blow to us at this nascent period of recovery in our history as a people battling to entrench unity in our diversity. I hope that we can all put the past behind us and work towards the progress of Ado-Odo collectively."

"Rest on Kabiyesi Adeniran Akanni! You came, you saw, you conquered! You have joined the great league of our ancestors. We will forever remember the sacrifices your bore for the unconquered kingdom of Ado-Odo."
