"Our deepest condolences to the government and people of Oyo State, the Olubadan in Council, Central Council of Ibadan Indigene (CCII), and the family of His Royal Highness, over the passing of our renowned royal father, HRH Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji (Ajeogugunniso 1).

"As we join the family, ibadan indigene, oyo state government and well-wishers across the nation to mourn the painful exit of our Royal Father Oba Adetunji’s, we take comfort in the fact that throughout his impressive life, he devoted himself to the development of Ibadan and the nation as a whole, during his life time , peace reign in Ibadan and the legacy will continue to live on.
