Elemide Elected As Mace Club Nigeria President


The Mace Club of Nigeria, Abeokuta has elected new officers to manage the affairs of the club for the next two years. 



The election of the new Executives which took place on the 19th day of March, 2022 at the Club house saw Chief Lolu Elemide emerged as the club's President in an election devoid of rancour. 



The Chairman of Mace Electoral Commission (MEC), Mace Laja Awodele who conducted the election said the elected officers fulfilled all electoral requirements and were returned elected.



Other elected officers are: Mace Toyin Obatosin (Vice President), Mace Jibola Orisadare (Secretary General), Mace Saheed Dosumu (Director of Finance & Treasury), Mace Adebayo Olajide (Director of Socials & Public Relations) and Mace Edward Lasilo as the Deputy Secretary- General.



In his acceptance speech, the new President, Mace Lolu Elemide commended the immediate past executive for putting the club on pedestal of success.



Elemide assured that the new executive under his leadership would continue to build upon the foundation laid by previous administrations to take the club to an enviable height.



Mace Club of Nigeria established on the 1st of April, 1984 with "Modesty, Candour and Service" as it's motto has been engaged in community service and social development.



The club will be 38 years of existence in Service to humanity and community development by Friday 1st of April, 2022.



The immediate past President of the Club, Mace Sina Oyejobi has officially handed over to the newly elected officers at a ceremony after its March statutory meeting which was held on Sunday, 20th March 2022.
