Easter Celebration: Ogun Reps Aspirant, Shote Preaches Love

The leading aspirant for the House of Representatives in Ijebu Central Federal Constituency comprising Ijebu-Ode Ijebu North-East and Odogbolu local government areas of Ogun state, Barrister Taiwo Shote (a.k.a Pepe) has enjoined the people to love another and live in peace.

Shote, who spoke in an Easter message that he issued in Ijebu- Ode, said, "The crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ was a demonstration of his uncommon and unqualified love for mankind.

"Therefore, as a people, we should love one another and live in peace and harmony so that we can be united in tackling the socio-economic and political challenges facing us."

Shote urged the wealthy to show some love for the poor and needy by giving in the spirit of the season.

The lawyer turned politician also admonished the youth to eschew violence and avoid being used during this electioneering year.
