Ramadan: Ogun PDP Governorship Aspirant, Prof Bamgbose greets Muslims, calls for national prayers

A People's Democratic Party ( PDP) Governorship Aspirant in Ogun State, Prof. David Bamgbose has congratulated Muslims as they welcome the holy mo began Ramadan fast, the month of fasting and intense devotion for piety.

Bamgbose in a statement, he personally signed in Abeokuta, the state capital, urged them to pray for Nigeria as the country faces many challenges.

He said the fasting period offers a unique opportunity that Allah answer all prayers.

He appealed to Muslims to use the opportunity to pray for Nigeria to bring peace back to the country and beyond, and for healing and harmony throughout the world.

According to him, “let’s use the opportunity of Ramadan to pray for our dear state, Ogun State and Nigeria at large to foster peace to country and make life more comfortable for the citizens.

“Muslims should seek greater personal discipline, which is necessary for the realization of a great nation.”

Bamgbose wished all Muslims a successful completion of the 30-day fasting period.
