OGUN ALTERNATE MEDICINE BOARD GETS POLICE SUPPORT AGAINST QUACKERY

Determined to ensure that Ogun State Alternate Medicine Board (OGAMB) achieve its set objective, the Nigeria Police Force, Ogun State Command has signified its support to the Board, in its quest to rid the State of quacks.
This indication emerged when the management of the Board led by its Chairman, Balogun Nurudeen Olaleye, paid a courtesy visit to the State Commissioner of Police , CP Olanrewaju Bankole at Eleweran , Abeokuta.

Balogun Olaleye said the present administration is ensuring that residents enjoy efficient and qualitative health care services in all ramifications, adding that emergence of the Board would enable the people derive maximal benefit of alternate
medicine use without fear. 
The Board Chairman who affirmed the support of government and the key stakeholder to the agency's remarkable achievements, expressed optimism that it would soon be a full fledged agency. 

He commended the effort of the Command for his outstanding performance on security of lives and property in the State. 

Responding, CP Bankole emphasised the need to collaborate with the Board, in order to effectively deliver on its mandate and actualise the vision. 

He assured that the Police would continue to partner the Board not only in crime fighting but also in its sensitisation and public enlightenment programmes.

His words" Police have responsibility of ensuring that citizens are law abiding so that society can be peaceful, in order to fast track meaningful development. 
"It is only in such a society that we all can sleep with our two eyes closed, so we are ready to support with all that we could under the law".
