Rep Ticket: Kenny Bello Hires Falana To Defend His Candidacy



A federal High Court sitting in Abeokuta division, the Ogun State capital has adjourned a case brought to it by an aspirant, Tele Ogunjobi seeking cancellation of primary election of Ijebu North, Ijebu East and Ogun Waterside federal constituency.
Ogunjobi who contested the federal constituency seat on the platform People's Democratic Party, PDP alongside current member at the house of Representatives, Hon. Adesegun Adekoya and Kehinde Bello who was declared winner, prayed the court in suit number, Fhc/ab/cs/76/2022.

At the court proceedings on Friday, Justice J.O AbdulMalik adjourned the case to June 29, cited reasons on the grounds that some parties joined in the suit are yet to be served.

Councsel to plaintiff, Ogunjobi, Ebun Adegoruwa, SAN while speaking to Newsmen, said they are in court to challenge the primary that brought him Bello as the substantive candidate of the federal constituency.


Kehinde Bello defence counsel, Femi Falana told Newsmen that they are ready for the case.
