ADC Reps Hopeful, Akinrinde Calls For Women Inclusion in Politics

...As party assures of victory in 2023 polls

Ahead the 2023 general elections,  the House of Representatives Candidate under the platform of African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency, Florence Funlola Akinrinde has called on the government to recognise the role of professional women in nation-building by giving them more opportunities in politics to bring positive change to the nation’s leadership.
Akinrinde made the call while unveiling a campaign offices at the Ifo and Ewekoro local governments areas of Ogun State.

The House of Reps Hopeful stressed that women inclusion in politics is a welcome development, insisting that if embraced, mentality of women staying back away from politics will change.
She said that women are change agents and with them in governance, things will transform for the nation.

According to her " Inclusion of women in politics is a welcome development and not even the women alone, the younger ones as well, it's time for us all to step up.
That mentality of staying back in politics that we are not interested is over. We women have to step up, we have to talk for the world to feel us, I believe it's a good development and I am happy about it."
I am very confidence that I'm going to win at the poll, ADC is a very friend party, when I joined the party,  we're made to known that the registration form is free for the women and the youths, so this is a party that encourages a lot of women  and a lot of youths to come on board.

If you're looking for a platform where you can hear your voice without knowing anyone, you can come to the ADC , it's a party that welcome the youths, women, and everyone generally.

Honestly it's going to be a different game this time around, because I've got passion for my constituents especially at the grassroots, I've been going round for the past few weeks and most of the time I come back with heartbroken, because these people are totally forgotten and politicians only come during campaign and give them stipends and when the election is over that's all. Nobody remembers them again, this time around is not going to be so.

Addressing journalists,  the state party Chairman, Hon. Matemilola Adelanwa assured that the party will emerge victorious in 2023, saying that they have all what it takes to wrestle power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Adelanwa therefore appealed to the general public to get their Permanent Voter Cards ( PVC), saying that's the only weapon that they can use to remove APC from government.

On his parts, Mr. Adejare Adetunji explained that Nigeria as a country is fed up of APC and PDP, maintaining that what the duo can not do over the years, ADC has come to tackle the issues affecting the country.

Others who are  in attendance the party faithful, leaders, supporters, the state party chairman,  Hon. Matemilola Adelanwa, the women leaders, Folasade Adetunji, Mr Adejare Adetunji among others.
