NEW FORESTRY COMMISSIONER, OLUDOTUN TASKS OFFICERS ON IMPROVE IGR
The Ogun State Commissioner for Forestry, Engr, Taiwo Oludotun has tasked staffers of the Ministry to brace up and ensure that the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) profile of the agency receives a boost.
Engr. Oludotun while fielding questions from OGIS correspondents in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, after being conducted round the Ministry, promised to give all necessary support needed to the staff for smooth operation.
According to him, "having gone round and see things for myself, I will advise officers in the Ministry to ensure they improve on the revenue profile, to ensure availability of funds to further support the ISEYA mantra of the present administration. We all need to work together to ensure that this objective is achieved".
The Commissioner assured that all broken down vehicles would be repaired for effective service delivery, stating that ‘’the bulk of work of professional foresters is done in the forest and not in the office’’.
