The former governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Ogun State, Otunba Rotimi Paseda, has vowed not work for the re - election bid of the incumbent state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, describing him as an "accidental governor."

Paseda made this known while declaring his support for Biyi Otegbeye, the governorship candidate of African Democratic Congress(ADC) in the state at Iwe Iroyin Press Centre, Abeokuta, on Monday.

He recalled that he was right beside the sitting governor hour before he was declared the winner in 2019.

He faulted Abiodun's administration, stressing that the governor was not prepared for the task before him but he got the position on a platter of gold.

He also declared to work against Abiodun's second term bid.

He boasted that he purposefully dumped APC ostensibly to work against Abiodun's second term bid, noting that the majority of Ogun people were already lamenting over his administration.

Paseda expressed his readiness to support Biyi Otegbeye to ensure that his Governorship ambition becomes a reality in 2023.
