Ogun: FRSC trains 50 officers on patrol ethics, conduct

 The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun Command, has organised a capacity training for its personnel, on patrol ethics, observation, conduct and how to enhance rescue operations.

Speaking at the workshop held at the command’s headquarters in Abeokuta, on Saturday, Mr Ahmed Umar, the Sector Commander, noted that 50 officers from the command has benefitted from the training.

Umar explained that the essence of the training was to prevent accidents on the road and to improve personnel capacity in road safety management.

The FRSC boss stated that the workshop would further equip the officers with necessary skills and education.

The sector commander appealed to the benefitting officers to use the opportunity to learn new ideas.

He urged them to make use of what they acquired as professionals in the cause of their operations, so that the Nigerian society would be better.

“The essence of the workshop is to further enlighten the staff on their responsibilities as expected in various units to make them live to expectation when carrying out their duties.

“What we are training them on how to enhance our rescue operations activities.

‘ We also talk about the patrol ethics, conduct and observation, patrol positioning and what they need to know before they embark on patrol.

“That would propel every one of us to be able to do better on our expectations,” he said.
