Ogun TORAN Chairman Expresses Hope As Nigeria Marks 62 Anniversary




As Nigeria marks its 62nd Independence Day Anniversary, the Chairman of Tricycles Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (TORAN), Ogun State chapter Prince Abdulwaasi Agunbiade has expressed optimism for a better Nigeria saying that there's need for every individuals to keep hope alive.

The Union Chairman gave the assurance while addressing journalists shortly after the union's and differrent groups matched pass in the presence of the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun at the MKO International stadium Abeokuta, at an event to commemorate this year 62nd Independence Day. 
Agunbiade popularly known as Yayi Agbara while congratulating Nigerians home and abroad on this year celebration maintained that there's also need to appreciate our past heroes for their sacrifices.

The TORAN Chairman equally urged Nigerians to maintain peace, unity, law and order ahead of the 2023 general elections, saying that the country would get it right.

According to him "First let me greet Nigerians and Nigeria as a country, we should appreciate those that sacrifice their blood,their lifes their properties for the emergence of the name called Nigeria,our heroes may their soul continue to Rest In Peace, some of them are alive, they are living heroes may them be blessed by the mercy of this country.

"Nigeria at 62 ,i want to wish every Nigeria home and abroad that happy celebrations to us all,may we celebrate more of this in mercy, grace and abundant of God blessings that my wishes and prayer for Nigeria."

"62 years of Nigeria ,it has not been easy we are not yet there but we appreciate where we are. Me I’m a proud Nigerian , in Cameroon, Morocco and some other countries I cannot walk freely but in Nigeria I can walk anywhere. That is the freedom they fought for that is why I’m happy and we might not be there today but I can tell you Nigeria will be great, Agunbiade concluded.
