Princess Royal Frontiers to Host Most Beautiful Girl in Ogun-Waterside pageant

The maiden edition of the Most Beautiful Girl in Ogun-Waterside, an initiative of Princess Royal Frontiers geared towards promoting women empowerment, is set to hold in Ogun-Waterside LG, Ogun State.

Hon. Princess Abioye Phillips, who is the Founder of Princess Royal Frontiers, organisers of the beauty fiesta made this known to Newsmen.

The well-packaged cultural event which is slated to hold in December will feature beautiful, talented, focused, determined young ladies and most especially the ones who have love for their communities.

According to Princess Phillips, ‘The pageant will hold in Ogun-Waterside LG in December, where a Beauty Queen will be crowned, who will also represent Ogun-Waterside LG in subsequent beauty pageants within Ogun State and beyond.

‘The form fee is Ten Thousand Naira which is payable on the interview date. The event is in December, but prospective contestants will have to be available for an interview by the end of October. If selected, they have to be available for two weeks in November for training. The grand prize a is a trip to Nottihghill Carnival 2023 in the United Kingdom, to represent Ogun Waterside and Ogun State.

‘The winner will champion the campaign for the empowerment of women and girls, which is in line with the mandate of Princess Royal Frontiers.

‘A link for registration has been created and shared widely for interested and prospective participants of the beauty contest to express their interest. Registration for the pageant has started nationwide and it will end on October 31st, which will be followed by audition and camping, before the grand finale.

According to the organizers of the event, the pageant is aimed at exploring new worlds, discovering unknown talents amongst young people and new ways of thinking, will attract over 10,000 youths and other attendees beyond the shores of Ogun-Waterside.

The pageant will feature a traditional beauty contest in December, where the most beautiful girls from Ogun-Waterside will be adorned in different traditional attires and a beauty queen crowned among them.

It will attract distinguished individuals from all walks of life, including illustrious sons and daughters of Ogun-Waterside, where different groups are expected to come out in diverse cultural attires.
