Senator Yayi Assures Ogun West Farmers Massive Empowerment 

The Senator-elect in Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, Popularly known as Yayi has said that he has arranged for the sum of 20million naira loans for farmers cooperative society in Ogun West.

He maintained that the loans will assist the farmers in improving  on Agriculture in the state . 

Senator Yayi disclosed this on Sunday when the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Agriculture led farmers in Ogun West to pay a congratulatory visit to him at the Pavilion hall, Ilaro, Ogun State.

He submitted that he was happy to meet with the farmers, saying that  there is no doubt that all farmers supported him to win the Senatorial election held on Saturday 25th of February.

The  chairman committee on finance and appropriation added that because of his love for farmers, he has made up his mind to be a member of Senate committee on Agriculture.

He said " I want to inform all farmers that I have arranged the sum of 20million naira loans for farmers cooperative society in Ogun West. The farmers will have access to the loans as to promote, sustain and support their Agricultural businesses. I  have many programes for the farmer  that will better their lives.

"These i  have been  saying  are  achievable. There are lot of farmers who need assistance and I am fully awared that my people are predominantly farmers and I know what to do to better their lives. This will not cost me anything" 

He commended Dr. Adelaja-Kuye for his great passion for agriculture, adding that she has performed wonderfully well since her appointment by Governor Dapo Abiodun.

Yayi said " Dr. Adelaja Kuye has been doing tremendously well in the Ministry of Agriculture in Ogun State. He has made the State proud in her great achievement so far. What I have noticed since i have known her is that she really cares about farmers in the state and want the best for them".

He however called on farmers to cast their votes for  Prince Dapo Abiodun to re-elect him for another term in office. He also urged them to vote for all the house of Assembly candidates under the platform of All Progressive Congress, APC.

Meanwhile, the National Vice President for all Farmers Association of Nigeria, Prince Olusegun Dasaolu hailed him for his good deeds to the farmers in Ogun West, adding that he is an outstanding politician.

Also Dr. Adelaja-Kuye while speaking with the newsmen  described the victory  of the Senator-elect as well deserved.

She maintained that Yayi is one of the Senators who have made good names in the country, adding that he is a politician with large heart.

Abiodun's aide noted that their visit to Yayi is to congratulate him on his victory at the just-concluded election and to declare their unflinching support for him.

She informed that the Farmers4Progress came out in their large numbers to cast their votes for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates in the State, promising that they will also do the same during the Governorship and house of Assembly elections come March 11.
