OGHA Victory: Owodunni Remains Duly Recognized Winner of Ikenne State Constituency, Media Team

The Media aide to Babajide Owodunni, elected State House of Assembly Ikene constituency has cleared the air over the controversial reports of some social media warriors that the Assembly candidate elected was not an authentic winner. 

The Aide cautioned those who were in charge of the fabricated stories in a statement made available to newsmen to desist from such controversial stories or face the wrath of the Law. 

He said, "In very clear terms, we wish to inform the public that the story is completely malicious and a fabricated tale planted to distract Babajide Owodunni from focusing on delivering qualitative representation to the people of the Ikenne State constituency at the Ogun State House of Assembly".

"It is instructive to state foremost that this campaign of calumny against Babajide Owodunni's mandate based on frivolous, unfounded and baseless allegations by politicians who are sore losers and have no respect for democratic values, is misconceived, malicious and prejudicial to our electoral system and we would advise that the general public be well guided".

"At the heart of every credible media team is the responsibility to verify its information before dishing it out to the public. The said publication has, however, turned into a huge embarrassment for the people who initiated it and those propelling it".

"We wish to state categorically that Babajide Owodunni is duly recognised by the Independent Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) as the winner of the election, and has even been issued a certificate of return confirming his victory".

"We admonish the rumour mongers to swallow the bitter pill over their loss at the election and focus on joining hands with Babajide Owodunni to take the constituency to greater heights"

"We however warn the masterminds behind this ill-advised hatchet job, that any further attempt to drag Babajide Owodunni's name into a smear campaign would be met with the full extent of the law". 

"We hereby seize this medium to urge members of the public to disregard this fictitious statement and stand solidly behind Babajide Owodunni. We are confident that Ikenne State Constituency and Ogun State would reach the next level of economic prosperity and all-round development in the next four years"
