Don't be Distracted by Campaign of Lies, Calumny against you - Youth Group Urges Hon. Owodunni 

The Ogun Youth Crusaders has urged the representative of Ikenne State Constituency at the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Babajide Owodunni not to be distracted by the campaign of lies and calumny against him.

In its response to the newly adopted campaign of lies by one of the desperate aspirants of the 2023 general election and his team who have constantly blackmailed the choice of the masses during the election, the public relations officer of the group, Odunayo Fashina called on supporters to ignore the futile attempt to disrate the soaring popularity and acceptability of Hon. Owodunni who has formally resumed duty at the Ogun State House of Assembly after yesterday's inauguration.

Reacting to the false reports about Hon. Owodunni which were published on some blogs, the group described the report as the work of some mindless, vicious and reckless people who have now become the preferred tool of unscrupulous elements in our society procured with monetary inducement to peddle blatant falsehood, tarnish the image of upright public officials and mislead unsuspecting Nigerians.

The group said, “With all emphasis at our disposal, let it be firmly stated that the reports against Hon. Owodunni are totally false and baseless fabrications purported to distract him from fuflfiling his promise to attract the dividends of democracy to the people of Ikenne State Constituency. The report is indeed completely absurd in every respect.

"The resounding victory of Hon. Owodunni at the election is a reflection of the people's trust and faith in him. We therefore urge him not to be agitated by the lies being told about him, but to remain resolute, unflinching and committed to the task ahead.

"The promise of stability, sustainability and promotion of people-oriented policies in government remain top of Hon. Owodunni's priority list for the people".

The group noted that the peddlers of such evil and false reports should be considered as award winning liars.
