Eid-el-Kabir : Hon. Soneye felicitates Muslims, seeks more prayers for Nigerian leaders 

Hon. Damilola Soneye, Ogun lawmaker, representing Obafemi Owode constituency has felicitated with Muslim faithful on Eid-el-Kabir celebration while calling for more prayers for present leaders in the country.

Soneye, in a statement on Wednesday, urged Muslims to use the Eid-el-Kabir celebration to diligently hold firmly to the lessons of sacrifice, perseverance, love, tolerance and loyalty to friends and neighbours.

The lawmaker noted that the annual celebration was to remind faithfuls the sacrifice of Prophet Ibraheem and his total obedience to Allah to sacrifice his son.

” Let us diligently hold firm to the lessons of sacrifice, perseverance, love, tolerance, steadfastness, and loyalty to friends, family, neighbours, colleagues and government at large," he said.

Soneye stated that the hallmark of the Eid-el-Kabir festival as exemplified by the prophet of God was total love for Allah.

He reiterated his commitment to ensuring support and passage of people's oriented bills during his tenure as a member of the 10th Ogun State House of Assembly.

Soneye wish all Muslim faithful a happy celebration and prayed Allah accept the sacrifices and prayers as an act of ibadah.
