Ogun Assembly Member, Hon. Owodunni gets Committee Chairmanship Appointment

Hon. Babajide Owodunni, who represents Ikenne State Constituency at the Ogun State House of Assembly, has been announced as the Chairman House Committee on Rural Development, Energy & Water Resources.
The announcement was made by the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Taiwo Oluomo during the plenary.
Reacting to the announcement of his appointment, Hon. Owodunni reiterated his commitment to serve the good people of Ogun State.
He made this re-assurance while thanking the House for considering him worthy of such position, adding that with the standard he is prepared to set through the appointment, the positive effects of his performance will be felt by all.
He said, "I'm grateful to the House for this appointment. I will do my best to ensure that I use this position to better the lives of the people of Ogun state, without leaving anyone behind.
"This is my commitment to you, the people of our dear State, and also to God who bears me witness today.
“I am aware of the responsibilities that have been placed on my shoulders through this appointment, and I want to use this opportunity to assure everyone that I'm up to the task.
“My major objective in this position is to give quality and effective dividends of democracy to the different communities in the state that would impact positively in the lives of the people.
“With this appointment, I will focus on developmental and people-oriented decisions, being a strong voice for our people and ensuring that the impact of our performance will be felt by all,” he said.
Hon. Owodunni also re-stated his commitment to work with stakeholders and Agencies of the state to focus on issue-based engagements to bring about maximum productivity as the chairman of the committee.
