Ogun Community Calls For Govt. Rescue As Landgrabbers Lay Siege 


 A community in Obada area, off square hotel, (O'SQUARE HOTEL) under Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun state, have been living in perpetual fear over the activities of landgrabbers claiming ownership of the land.


The leaders of the landgrabbers identified as prince oladeinde alias auditor and one Umar ayoku has been allegedly accused of disturbing the peace of the community, which have over 300 houses


The landgrabbers in a public notice through one Amstrong Synergy and Sheild Ltd stated that it is the legal owners of the vast land, which according to it is being illegally occupied.


The statement reads, "This is to inform the general public that Lambo Ajaba is the owner of the vast land situated at Aiyedere Lambo village along Lagos-Ibadan Express Road in Ewekoro Local Government of Ogun state.


"Any member of the public or anyone who has acquired illegally any parcel, portion or piece of land from any other person, than the Lambo Ajaba family he or she is at his own risk and is at an illegal occupant and trespasser.


"If you wish to validate any or legalize your right of possession over any land which you occupy allegedly, you are to contact Armstrong synergy and Sheild Limited to regularise your title and legal rights over the land.


"Note that any person who refuses to regularise or validate their title will be prosecuted without further delay".


Speaking with newsmen, a resident of the area laments daily harassment from the landgrabbers, saying that they live in constant fear of being illegally evicted from their houses.


"The case on the true ownership of this land is still in court, (There is dispute between 2 family KUYE AND LAMBO at ayedere village in ewekoro which is already in court but the disputed area did not extend to our own community even if it affected our community let them follow the due process without disturbing the peace of the community. in the recent time, we have witnessed 2 cases of armed robbery at night
