Residents Hail Niyas Over Rehabilitation  Of Ile-Ise Awo Road



Residents of Ile-Ise Awo in Abeokuta North local government of Ogun State have expressed gratitude to former House of Assembly Aspirant, Engr. Shokunle Owolabi Afeez popularly known as Niyas over a recently rehabilited road.


Some residents and business premises owners who spoke in separate interviews with our correspondent on Tuesday during the rehabilitation of a long stretch road in the community said the development would ease the movement of motorists and traders in the area. 
Our correspondent gathered that the rehabilitation makes a third time the Assembly Aspirant would be stepping in to fix the  deplorable section of the road in the community.

The APC youth leader in the local government, Comrade Akibo Solomon commended Engr. Shokunle adding that the new rehabilitation will surely ease the suffering from residents who are coming from the farm, instead of going from Ibara through Ita -Oshin down to the community, who be stress free because it's a short cut to ease the stress people go through.

It was revealed that the road is linked from Ile-Ise Awo to Oke-Ata Estate from there to Mango. It is an axis road that link from Ile-ise Awo to Ibara. Therefore,  for Engr. Shokunle to do it,  he has done a good job, residents explained. 

On his parts, Engr. Shokunle who spoke to our correspondent via phone said the recent rehabilitation is the third time and it's not to show-off, but the gesture is to support the government of Ogun State under the leadership of Prince Dapo Abiodun for his great achievement in the development of the state.
