Happening during a peaceful campaign and sensitisation walk around the town by members of the group, their President, Olaleye Olanrewaju, said cultism has become a threat to peace and progress in the society, which if not stopped would not only bring setbacks, but also destroy the hope and aspirations of coming generations.

The social group regarded the present Prince Dapo Abiodun-led government as a responsive and responsible one willing to deal with those disturbing the peace of the State. They called for a collective support to various developments seen across the State.
