Gateway Progressive Youth Congratulates Ogun Commissioners, Special Advisers, Charges them on Youth Partnership for more Development 

The Gateway Progressive Youths has congratulated the newly sworn in Commissioners and Special Advisers in Ogun State on their appointments.

This was contained in a statement by the group's Director of Publcity, Olamide David, and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The group applauded Governor Abiodun on the choice of the Commissioners and Special Advisers which they described as a mixed breed of the young, middle-aged and experienced hands.

Speaking with Newsmen shortly after the swearing in, the coordinator of the group, Olufemi Bashorun called on the new Commissioners and Special  Advisers to use their exalted offices to implement Governor Abiodu’s ISEYA Agenda in their various ministries and capacities.

He said that the people of Ogun deserve more development in all facets of life and urged the Commissioners and Special Advisers to do everything within their powers to prove Governor Abiodun right on their choice by using their wealth of experience to advance the efforts of the governor in the state.

He said, "On behalf of the Gateway  Progressive Youths, I congratulate all our newly appointed and sworn-in Commissioners and Special Advisers.

“Your appointments are well deserved having served the party and government at various levels.

“We urge you all to bring your wealth of experience to bear on your assignments in the various ministries by ensuring that the ISEYA Agenda of the Governor is continuously felt on the lives of all the people of Ogun.

“The Governor has promised to do more for the people, and it is your responsibilities as Commissioners and Special  Advisers to help him actualise this mandate aimed at advancing Ogun on a path of continuous progress.

“We therefore urge you all to uphold the confidence he had in your appointments by exceeding His Excellency’s expectations from you,” he said
