Ibogun sets to launch fundraising for construction of civic center in December

The Ibogun community in a bid to create an avenue for getting people's opinions is set to launch a fundraising for the construction of a Civic center on the 6th of December 2023 at Ikeja, Lagos State. 


Civic center is an important part of a community because it provides a place for people to come together and engage in activities that promote civic engagement. It can be used for a variety of purposes, such as hosting public meetings, providing a venue for cultural events, and offering recreational activities. Civic centers can also be used to provide educational opportunities, such as classes and workshops.


It will provide a place for people to come together, civic centers can help to foster a sense of community and promote civic engagement.


The Kabiyesi, Hrm Oba Adeshina Kayode Faluade while speaking with our correspondent said, the construction of a mosque and motorized borehole is borne out of his passion to assist the people in getting water supplies for their daily activities.


The guest musician for the day is King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal popularly known as KWAM 1, while important dignitaries in the length and breath of Nigeria is expected to attend the fundraising and launching ceremony which would be taken place at R & A City Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos state on the 6th of December 2023.
