Oyo Energy Commissioner meets Ibadan new media stakeholders ,highlights achievements and works in progress

-Energy Ministry felt in all Oyo state local government directly or indirectly 

-Energy Ministry is not only LIGHT UP OYO 

-Challenges as pioneer head of the ministry 

The Honorable Commissioner Of Energy,Barrister Seun TNA met with some section of Ibadan New Media highlighting the achievements of the Ministry in the last four years .

 He appreciated his excellency,Engr Seyi Makinde for the opportunity to serve as the pioneer head of a new ministry 

He said he appreciated the opportunity to be involved in a new challenge despite being a Barrister .

He recounted the successes achieved in all local government of the state which is not peculiar to light up Oyo project alone 

Mini solar grids were done in remote areas of some local government . Solar power to many healthcare centers in the state . Over 200km of Consistent street light across the state 

He continued by recounting the challenges faced on the light up Oyo project ranging from bad reportage to damaging of the power poles . He stressed the need for the media to do thorough investigation on the activities of the ministry before putting out the news. He also promised to be engaging media personnel’s periodically to ensure correspondence between the ministry and the media .

Furthermore ,The Commissioner highlighted the works ongoing at the ministry under omituntun 2.0 part of which is the continuing Light up project to cover more kilometers of the state and enjoined everyone to key into the government plans in this second phase
