Christmas: Erubami donates N1m to ward, presents cash gifts to Baales in Isaga

A legislator, representing ward 15,  Isaga Ilewo Orile in Abeokuta North Local Government, Ogun State,  Hon. Moruf Erubami on Friday doled out Christmas gifts in cash to all the Baales in his ward.

Erubami added that the gesture was to enable his constituents have good Christmas and New Year celebrations.

The councilor  presented them the cash gifts when he hosted the Baales  in his hotel in Isaga.

According to him, the cash gifts is to support the Baales to be able to celebrate christmas on Monday, 25th of December 2023.

Erubami also donated the sum of 1million naira to his ward for the celebration of christmas.

He said "For those who know me and have been following my antecedents, you will know that I have been doing this kind of thing even before I joined politics.

"Christmas is the time to share with loved ones, and the best way to reach out is by sharing what you have with others.

"So, in my little way, I decided to donate cash to the baales who have been supporting me with prayers  and  i am also donating the sum of 1million naira to my ward so that they can celebrate during this Christmas,” he said

Erubami also urged Christians in his constituency to use the Christmas season to pray for a peaceful Ogun and Nigeria in general

"With this gesture, my people will have something to eat during this Christmas, they will not go hungry,” he  added
