ACOMORAN Congratulates Abiodun On Supreme Court Victory

The Chairman of the Amalgamated Commercial Tricycle and Motorcycle Owners Repairs and Riders Association of Nigeria (Acomoran), Kayode Showunmi has congratulated Governor Dapo Abiodun on his victory at the Supreme Court on Friday.

Governor Abiodun had earlier won at both the Ogun State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal and the Court of Appeal, with both courts dismissing the cases instituted by his challenger, Ladi Adebutu to overturn his victory.

Showunmi, in a statement issued to newsmen described Abiodun’s victory as a legal vindication that further strengthens the nation’s democratic process.

He urged the citizens of Ogun state to rally behind the Governor for a stronger and more prosperous administration.

" I extend our heartfelt congratulations to Governor Dapo Abiodun and the All Progressives Congress (APC) on their resounding victory at the Supreme Court, today, over the 2023 Governorship Election. 

"This momentous triumph signifies not only a legal vindication but also reinforces the trust and confidence the people of Ogun State have placed in the leadership of Governor Abiodun and the APC.

"I commend the APC for their unwavering support and steadfast determination throughout this entire legal process. The party’s unity, resilience, and commitment to the ideals of democracy have undoubtedly contributed to this significant victory" he said
