Hon. Soneye congratulates Abiodun on Supreme Court victory

Hon. Damilola Soneye (APC-Obafemi Owode), member, Ogun State House of Assembly has congratulated Gov. Dapo Abiodun on Supreme Court victory, saying that the victory was well deserved.

Soneye stated that in a statement issued in Abeokuta on Friday.

The lawmaker opined that the victory would put an end to distractions from opposition party, saying the people of the state should be rejoicing for having Abiodun as the governor.

Soneye said that the Supreme Court decision had again pointed to the unflinching support of majority of the people of the state for the governor’s second term.

He added that the judgment of the Supreme Court was an opportunity for the governor to fulfill his promises to the people by ensuring that dividends of democracy cuts across all the nooks and crannies of the state.

The lawmaker lauded the Supreme Court Justices for standing firm professionally by ensuring that the will of the people prevailed.

" Today's judgment has giving our governor the opportunity to fulfill is electoral promises to the people.

" The governor must ensure that dividends of democracy cuts across all parts of the state. The people of the state are happy with the governor and am sure they are ready to give the governor maximum support," he said.
