Economic hardship: Former Senatorial Aspirant, Olumide Jones calls for Sustainable Agricultural Revolution in Nigeria

As the country is witnessing rising cost of food items and unbearable high cost of living, an Ex- Senatorial aspirant in Ogun Senatorial District, Hon Olumide Jones has called for sustainable Agricultural revolution in Nigeria.
The I.T specialist made this known in the press statement made available to journalists in Abeokuta, Ogun state capital.
The Politician said that only sustainable agricultural practices can solve the problem of high cost of food commodities.
He added that the only way to life easy to citizens is for government to make available for food production.
''When people gets enough food to eat and affordable prices,there wont be uproar.
"The problem of Rising exchange rate is also attached to low local production of what we consume as a country.
"If we can produce our food locally and invest more in mechanized farming,there will be surplus of food and we have enough to export,this will automatically strengthen our Naira and will bring stability to our economy" he said
