Oyo Energy Commissioner Advocates Collaborations and Partnerships at Rural Electrification Agency Roundtable" ,Highlights Achievements in rural electrification projects across Oyo state

 Barr.Seun TNA  attended a two-day roundtable organised by the Rural Electrification Agency. The event was aimed at fostering deeper collaboration and partnership between sector stakeholders, including Distribution Companies, to enhance rural electrification. 

His contributions detailed some of the strides Oyo State has made in the area of rural electrification including mini-grids, provision of solar systems for primary health centres and input data for future grid developments.

Oyo's Energy Commissioner further emphasized the critical importance of collaborations and partnerships in advancing rural electrification efforts. Highlighting the significance of collective action, the commissioner underscored the need for stakeholders to work together to address energy access challenges and drive sustainable development. By fostering strong partnerships and leveraging shared expertise, the commissioner emphasized the potential to accelerate progress towards universal electrification, improving livelihoods and enhancing quality of life in rural communities across Oyo State.

He also reaffirmed the HE Seyi Makinde led administration’s commitment to the ease of doing business in Oyo State to facilitate investment in the sector.
