Eid-el-fitri : Ogun NUT congratulates Muslims on successful completion of Ramadan


The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Ogun Chapter, has congratulated Muslim faithful on the successful completion of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid-el-fitri.


Mr Samson Oyelere, the State Secretary, in a congratulatory message on Wednesday in Abeokuta, urged Muslims to remain steadfast.


" It is our belief that spiritual controls the physical, hence, we have confidence that Almighty Allah will answer our prayers and supplications during and after the holy month of Ramadan.


" The Union, under the leadership of Com. Sewakanu Oladipupo Noah hereby urges you to remain steadfast, be more determined and patriotic to your calling (Teaching) for the physical manifestation of our answered prayers to be evident without returning to our old ways. 

 
"The leadership equally enjoins all Muslim faithfuls to continue practicing the dictates of Ramadan teachings of being our brothers' keeper, rendering helping hands at all times and avoiding elicit behaviors which shorting lifespan as we imbibe now.


" You are urged to note that prayer is the key that links creatures with their creator ( Almighty Allah) which must be sustained after Ramadan, believing that a peaceful and prosperous state or nation needs prayers to sustain its blessings and correct the ills. This is what we owe our nation which is a joint project in respective of our believes. 

"Wishing you all the best this season can offer as nation builders," he said.
