Osoba begins second phase distribution of palliatives, commends Tinubu 

A federal lawmaker, representing Abeokuta North/ Obafemi Owode/ Odeda Federal Constituency, Reps Olumide Osoba has begun the distribution of the second phase of palliatives to the people of his constituency

The lawmaker during the first batch distributed food palliatives to his constituents across the federal constituency where many people benefitted especially people with special needs.

He submitted that the palliatives distribution is in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security.

The flagging off the second distribution came up on  Saturday in Ibara housing, Abeokuta had in attendance leaders ans ward chairmen of the APC.

Osoba who was represented by his legislative assistant, mr Oluwaseun Akinpelu during the distribution explained that second phase distribution will help to mitigate the effects of fuel subsidy removal.

The lawmaker commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his love for Nigerians in providing food materials to the people in alleviating hardships caused by economic downturn.

“Today we are flagging the second phase of the distribution of palliatives to the people within my constituency. The first phase consisted of the general public and each and every ward in the state received bags of  rice and beans.

“This second phase consists of what we are doing today, distribution of palliatives to the  people within my constituency, especially the people with special needs. We are also going to reach out to some groups.

Leaders of the beneficiary groups who spoke on behalf of their people thanked Olumide Osoba  for considering their situation and giving them special treatment.
