Hon. Wahab Commissions School Hall, Donates Cash Gifts, Solar Lights to Constituency


Hon. Wahab Abiodun Egungbohun, the lawmaker representing Ketu State Constituency (II) in Yewa North Local Government, has commissioned a school hall and provided cash empowerment to over 120 constituents. 


The lawmaker also donated solar lights to junction bases to improve street lighting in the area.

The empowerment programme was held at the Yewa North Local Government, primary school, Ebute Igbooro, in Yewa North area of the state. 
The event was attended by the constituent former lawmaker, Hon. Job Akintan (leader) the Majority Leader of the State House of Assembly Hon. Sheriff Yusuf, Local Government Party Chairman, Adekunle Adeosun JP, the commissioner (III) Civil Service Commission Ijoun Ward, Hon. Gabriel Falola (Apology), Chief Olawale Bankole (former commissioner) and Honorable Sharafa (Aiyetoro). 

Other includes all the four wards Chairmen and Councilors in Ketu, Baale Ohunbe Town, Ogun West Women Leader, Yewa North women Leader, Chief Bankole Eggua Ward, Pa Major Olubi Eggua Ward, Hon Kokumo from Awori, Chief Ayinla Ijiola, Women Leader, Folashade Ogunola, Senatorial Women Leader, Chief Mrs Mercy Sodan, Major Olubi (leader), amongst others. 

In his address, Hon. Job urged the beneficiaries to make the most of the empowerment, emphasizing that it was made possible by the lawmaker's generosity rather than constituency allowance. 
He encouraged them to remain loyal and committed to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Hon. Sheriff, speaking on behalf of the State Speaker, commended Hon. Egungbohun for his initiative, stating that the empowerment was funded from his personal resources, therefore praised the him for his dedication to his constituency and encouraged others to follow his example.

Hon. Egungbohun revealed that further empowerment programs are in the works, including farm produce support for local farmers, school renovations, and leadership empowerment. 
He expressed his gratitude to the people of his constituency for their unwavering support and promised to continue working for their benefit.

"By June, farmers in the constituency will receive farm produce empowerment to ensure food security in the community. Additionally, grinding machines will be provided to support local businesses."

Hon. Egungbohun extended his appreciation to Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun for his exceptional service to the state and Senator Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) for his dedication to his constituents. He also thanked the Majority Leader for his presence throughout the program.

Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the lawmaker and promised to use the empowerment wisely.
