Ogun Lawmaker Promises To Fix Bad Roads,  Electrification Issue In Waterside 


A lawmaker representing Ogun Waterside State Constituency, Hon. Lawal Samsideen Adekunle, has vowed not to relent in his efforts until he is able to end the black out and improve on the deplorable condition of the roads in Ode-Omi community in Waterside 


Hon. Lawal disclosed this while speaking with newsmen after a stakeholders' meeting organized by the Ministry of Rural Development in Ogun State, held at the ministry, Okemosan, Abeokuta.


He expressed lamentations over the hardships that his people have been enduring as regards to the black out and deplorable roads in the community despite his several interventions with the Ogun State House of Assembly.


Hon. Lawal explained that he is committed to the advancement of the local government area in order to attract investors into the community.


"I know that past honorable members have made great efforts at ensuring that the issues are resolved. I am assuring my people that during my administration, Ode-Omi will enjoy electricity and good roads. The state government through the Ministry of Rural Development has made a good move in organizing Stakeholders meeting today, it is to tell us that we can still shout “Up Nepa” again, we appreciate them for having us in mind.


He submitted that his love for his people cannot be undermined, adding that they have benefited a lot from his kind gesture since he has assumed office.
