Stakeholders Gather At Koye's Town Hall Meeting To Empower Youths

In commemoration of International Youth Day, Comedian, Olukoyejo Morenikeji, popularly known as ‘Koye’ has organised a town hall meeting to engage with the youths on needs to leverage on Community Partnerships to Support Youth Development in the country.
The event, with the theme "Leveraging on Community Partnerships to Support Youth Development," held at the Ago Imala Town Hall, Ago-Imala Ayetoro, Yewa North Local Government, area of Ogun State.
The town hall meeting was attended by several dignitaries, which included the Special Assistant to the Ogun State Governor on Youth Empowerment and Job Creation, Hon. Abiola Odetola, Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Development, Comrade Olamide Lawal, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ogun State Chapter Chairman, Oloye Kolawole Shoremi, Corporate Lawyer, ECOWAS Youth Ambassador, and Chairman, Ogun Youth Assembly, Amb. Habeeb Whyte Ibidapo Esq.
Others are Immediate Past Vice Chairman of Yewa North Local Government, Hon. Mrs. Olubukola Omoyayi,National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ogun State Chapter; Prince Adekele Adebajo, 8th Chairman, and Com. Abdulijabar Ayelaagbe, President and Chairman, Yewa Youth Association.
According to Comedian Olukoyejo Morenikeji, the convener of the event, explained that the event was aimed to bring together stakeholders to discuss ways to support youth development in the community through partnerships.
"We want to empower our youths to become active contributors to the socio-economic development of our dear state and the nation at large", Olukoyejo concluded.
In there separate remarks, the panelists in attendance who shared their insights and expertise on the theme, emphasized on the importance of youth empowerment, saying, that "Youths are the future leaders of the nation, and it is responsibility of everyone to equip them with the necessary skills and resources to succeed."
