2027: Yayi Is Not Unknown To Anyone, EYSM Backs His Governorship Bid
A Solidarity Group, The Ewekoro Yayi Solidarity Movement (EYSM) has endorsed Senator (Dr) Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi, towards becoming the Governor of Ogun State, adding that his victory is an avenue towards greater development of the state.
The movement, which is a coalition of the ten wards across Ewekoro Local Government, Ogun State, on Wednesday, strategized towards ensuring that a resounding victory is totally secured for Senator Yayi in the 2027 gubernatorial election.
While addressing journalists at the event held in Itori area of Ogun State, the Coordinator of EYSM, Comrade Akinfenwa Oladipo said the gathering is not just about politics, but a vision, unity and commitment to a better Ogun State.
Oladipo hinted that Senator Yayi has proven beyond doubt that he is a leader with results.
The Deputy Cordinator of the movement, Comrade. Akinwunmi Akeem, while giving an insight on the purpose of the movement, said, "The Ewekoro Yayi Solidarity Movement is founded towards mobilizing support craft winning strategies and coordinating of collective efforts to secure a resounding victory for our beloved aspirant, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi in the 2027 gubernatorial election.
"Our movement is driven by men and women who are academically sound, ideologically grounded, and morally upright. We understand the importance of strategic mobilization and have mastered the art of uniting people of different languages, orientations, occupations, and professions across every wards in Ewekoro Local Government, embracing our diversity as a strength rather than a barrier.
"Our anointed aspirant and principal has already made our work easier through his antecedents and effective representation of the good people of Ogun West, and his generous gestures that extend beyond the boundaries of Ogun West". He stressed.
Speaking on the strategies for mobilizing supporters, outreach and engagement for Senator Yayi by the movement, Comrade Kolajo hinted that there are many ways, we can gather and mobilize supporters together to support our vision and mission.
"By developing clear and actionable messages, in which well-crafted messages help people understand your mission and inspire them to take part in your grassroots activities.
"There are many means and ways we can publicize Yayi, it can be via Social media, Email messaging, SMS, Newspapers and Broadcast (TV and Radios).
"By empowering the supporters is also a mean of mobilizing supporters, so as we are members of the movement, we are taught to empower people around us likewise as our Boss (Yayi) does".
"Organising of local events and meetups are also avenues to bring supporters together and create a shared sense of purpose. Also, they serve as a powerful tool for raising awareness about your cause, as they can attract media attention and generate public interest", He added.
Also speaking on the personality of Senator Yayi and how he has been able to be empowering people, a member of the movement, Comrade Sheriff Adebayo, stated that the senator is God-sent to the entire people of Ogun State.
"Any Political group, Politicians, Church, Schools, Communities, that want to affiliate with Yayi should come and join and also relate with us as a solidarity movement of Yayi.
"Yayi is not anonymous to anyone in Ogun State again, if you haven't seen him before physically, you would have seen him either on paperwork, social media, billboards, fliers, television, and the rest.
"This is something that has not happened before, giving out 102 transformers to a community at a time, and those who benefited, where as from the second day started submitting appreciation letters to our office".
However, he added, "Out of the things our boss (Yayi) is doing for the development of our various communities (CDAs) is giving out of transformers, streetlights, boreholes, empowerment of our people, is a significant turn around of our incoming governor in the State.
"One of our upcoming programs now is the mobilization of young ones towards their empowerment and this will be coming up across the state soon".
The event also inaugurated the Cordinator of all the wards, which included ABALABI:* Fatai Olatunbosun,ASA/YOBO Soyinka Waheed, ARIGBAJO Aremu Jamiu Jimoh, ITORI Badmus Ayoola, ELERE/ONIGBEDU, Omilani Leke, PAPALANTO Aragbaye Ajibola, WASINMI, Lawal Jelili.
Others were MOSAN, Ogunrinde Damilare, OWOWO, Lateef Oniyide, OBADA OKO, Adebeshin Jimoh, and INTER ETHNIC Olumide Jacobs.
