3SC Fall Narrowly in Enugu as Rangers Edge Past Oluyole Warriors

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan suffered a slim 1–0 defeat to Rangers International FC in a tense NPFL encounter played on Sunday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.

The home side secured the victory courtesy of Iwundu’s decisive strike in the 27th minute, which proved to be the only goal of the encounter. Despite several spirited attempts by the Oluyole Warriors to find an equalizer, the resolute Rangers defense held firm until the final whistle.

3SC showed flashes of brilliance and created notable chances, but poor finishing and a lack of composure in the final third denied them a share of the points.

The defeat  serves as a wake-up call for the Ibadan-based side, who remain ambitious in their quest for a top-table finish and potential continental qualification.

The Oluyole faithful will now look forward to their next home fixture, hoping their team can bounce back stronger and reignite their impressive form.
