APC Convention Success: Daytayo Moshood Commends APC Leaders, Canvasses Support For His Assembly Ambition

An aspirant for the Ogun State House of Assembly, Odogbolu State Constituency, Hajji Moshood Adetayo Abubakar (Langbodo), has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, over the successful conduct of the party National Convention in Abuja.

Abubakar, one of the leading aspirants in Odogbolu State Constituency, also congratulated the Vice presidential, Kashim Shettima, Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial district, Sen. Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi, and party faithful across the country for the peaceful and well-coordinated exercise.

He applauded President Tinubu for providing what he described as visionary leadership that ensured the successful planning and seamless execution of the convention held at Eagle Square.

Abubakar noted that the smooth conduct of the convention, as well as the ratification of processes from ward to zonal levels, reflects the strength, unity, and internal democracy within the ruling party.

He said, "This achievement underscores our collective commitment to purposeful leadership and the continued progress of our great party."

The aspirant also commended Governor Abiodun for his role in strengthening the party’s structure in Ogun State, noting that the unity among members in the state contributed to the overall success of the convention.

He equally congratulated Prof. Yilwatda and other party officials on their emergence, urging them to justify the confidence reposed in them by members.

Abubakar charged the party leadership at all levels to remain committed to upholding discipline, integrity, and unity while working towards strengthening cohesion within the APC.

While using the opportunity to reach out to his constituents, Abubakar appealed to party members and residents of Odogbolu State Constituency to support his aspiration, promising to deliver inclusive, responsive, and people-oriented representation.

He assured that his focus would be on youth empowerment, support for local enterprise, and policies that will drive development across communities in Odogbolu.

Abubakar hinted that his entry into the race is driven by a genuine desire to serve and bring fresh ideas that will positively impact the lives of the people.

He therefore expressed optimism that with the continued unity within the party and support from the grassroots, the APC would record even greater success in future elections.
