Oyo Archery on the Rise as Kingsmen Team Shines at Zen Archery Lagos Int'l Open 3.0

The Kingsmen Archery Team, an affiliate of the Oyo State Archery Association, delivered an outstanding performance at the recently concluded Zen Archery Lagos International Open 3.0, further establishing Oyo State as a growing force in Nigerian archery.

Led by Team Captain, Adetola Daniel, the team showcased remarkable skill, discipline, and determination, returning home with an impressive haul of medals across various categories.

Leading the medal charge was Habibat Saka Abiola, who emerged as one of the stars of the tournament with an exceptional three gold medals. Also making Oyo proud was Habeebat Otunbade, who secured one gold medal and one silver medal, while Fortuna Inyene added one gold medal to the team's tally.

On the male side, Ismail Kabiru delivered a commendable performance, winning one gold medal and one silver medal. Afeni Taiwo Ayobami further strengthened the team's medal count with one silver medal, while Ozigi Samson also earned one silver medal through a spirited display of precision and consistency.

The impressive outing of the Kingsmen Archery Team reflects the growing investment in talent development, training, and competitive excellence within the Oyo State archery community. The team's performance is a strong indication that Oyo State is steadily positioning itself as a major contender in national and international archery competitions.
