SHOOTING STARS UNVEIL BIG PLANS: NEW KITS, 50-BED HOSTEL & CONTINENTAL AMBITION

Chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami, has unveiled ambitious plans for the 2026/2027 NPFL season, including new official jerseys, a 50-bed players’ hostel and a push for continental football.

Speaking during an interactive X-Space session organised by 3SC Fans TV, Salami announced that the club’s new Kelme replica jerseys, produced in the Netherlands, are expected to hit the market early next week. He assured fans that management would subsidise the price to make them affordable.

The chairman also revealed that the club has secured approval to construct a 50-bed players’ hostel, alongside other facilities aimed at upgrading Shooting Stars’ infrastructure to international standards.

On the pitch, Salami set a clear target of a top-three NPFL finish and qualification for continental competition in the new season.

He further disclosed that the club’s partnership with Chowdeck is initially for one year, while matchday tickets will be available through stadium ticket booths, Chowdeck platforms and the club’s official website.

Salami identified security and road safety during away trips as major concerns and assured supporters that the welfare of players and officials remains a priority.

Reflecting on his leadership, he said the legacy of his late father continues to inspire his efforts to build a stronger and more sustainable Oluyole Warriors.

With new kits, improved infrastructure, stronger partnerships and continental ambition, Shooting Stars are signalling a new era of growth.
