Engineer Toheeb Adegoke Unites Ward 8 Stakeholders at Strategic Meeting Ahead of 2027

The meeting attracted a strong representation of party leadership and stakeholders, including the Oyo Central Senatorial Chairman, Hon. Dayo Opakunle; Akinyele Local Government Chairman, Hon. Wole Akinleye; Akinyele Party Chairman, Hon. Lateef Alaja; Council Secretary, Hon. Kangara; Leader Arowosaye; Leader Adekunle Yusuf; Hon. Kazeem Egbeleke; Alhaji Kunle Yusuf; Baba Taju Owe; and Mama Fadaunsi, alongside local government and ward executives, party leaders and other stakeholders.

The engagement provided an avenue for stakeholders to interact directly, exchange perspectives and discuss issues affecting the party and the constituency. It was particularly significant against the backdrop of differences that had existed among some stakeholders in the ward, as the meeting created room for dialogue, understanding and reconciliation.

Speaking at the meeting, Engineer Toheeb Adegoke described Ward 8 as one of the largest and strategically important wards in Akinyele Local Government, noting that his decision to engage directly with its stakeholders was deliberate.

He said the meeting was necessary to strengthen relationships, listen to the concerns of party members and ensure that all interests are brought together ahead of the 2027 electoral contest.

The APM candidate appealed to stakeholders to embrace unity and set aside their differences in the collective interest of the party and the constituency.

According to him, a united political structure would be better positioned to mobilise effectively, secure victory at the polls and ultimately advance the interests of the people of Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency.

Engineer Adegoke also expressed his appreciation to the party leaders and stakeholders for the support they had continued to give him throughout his political journey, particularly before and after his emergence as the APM candidate for the constituency.

He acknowledged the contributions of the various stakeholders to his political aspiration and called for the continuation of the spirit of cooperation, solidarity and commitment as the 2027 general election approaches.

The meeting ended on a positive note, with stakeholders expressing renewed commitment to greater cooperation, reconciliation and collective mobilisation as the party prepares for the 2027 electoral contest.

The engagement further underscored Engineer Adegoke's emphasis on stakeholder consultation, internal unity and grassroots mobilisation as key components of his campaign strategy for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency.
